In 2022, Nipro Corporation deployed SAP Analytics Cloud as part of a cloud migration initiative to unify a fragmented IT landscape. The SAP Analytics Cloud implementation sits in the Analytics and BI category and was delivered in conjunction with SAP Data Warehouse Cloud and SAP BW Bridge to consolidate corporate reporting and planning workflows across the group.
SAP Analytics Cloud was configured to provide planning, reporting and forecasting capabilities, while SAP BW Bridge enabled reuse of existing SAP BW data models and extractors to load data natively into SAP Data Warehouse Cloud. The architecture shifted hourly data movement to DWC using BW Bridge, removing heavy daily reloads and enabling automated hourly uploads that reduced session times and lowered system load, and the initial end-to-end implementation of BW Bridge, DWC and SAP Analytics Cloud completed in three months.
The project integrated multiple SAP ERP applications and set a path for future SAP S/4HANA adoption, while also consolidating data from third-party systems for unified analytics. Flexso acted as the implementation partner and guided Nipro through an early adopter challenge with direct SAP support, and the deployment focused operationally on finance and reporting functions across Nipro Europe Group Companies, which operate production sites and sales offices in the region.
Governance incorporated the early adopter challenge process to iterate on BW Bridge functionality with SAP support, preserving business continuity during a long term migration. Outcomes reported by the project included hourly uploads reduced to about one minute from prior 15 minute sessions, avoidance of SAP source system overload, and faster, real-time availability of finance data through SAP Analytics Cloud, improving overall analytics performance.

In 2022 Nipro Corporation implemented SAP Analytics Cloud as part of a broader initiative that replaced QlikView and introduced SAP Datasphere together with SAP BW bridge for SAP Datasphere, in a program supported by Flexso. The move was driven by a need to preserve business continuity while Nipro Europe migrated to SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition over a multi year timeline, and to keep reporting consistent across a fragmented estate of multiple SAP ERP versions, SAP BW instances and third party ERP systems.
The implementation centered on SAP Analytics Cloud for reporting, planning and predictive analytics, paired with SAP Datasphere as the unified data layer and SAP BW bridge to reuse existing SAP BW extractors. SAP BW bridge used the delta extraction mechanism to map native data from SAP ERP into SAP Datasphere, enabling no code data orchestration and preparing datasets for financial consolidation in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition. This integration pattern was completed in three months and replaced the QlikView reporting environment.
Integrations were explicitly with SAP ERP extractors, SAP Datasphere and the target SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, and operational coverage targeted finance and local IT support teams across Nipro Europe Group Companies. The previous daily manual uploads from SAP ERP into the data warehouse took at least 20 minutes per system and introduced a 24 hour delay, while the SAP BW bridge approach enabled hourly delta uploads that now take less than a minute and reduce load on source systems. The configuration preserved familiar toolsets for local teams and enabled self service analysis for users across regions.
Governance and rollout emphasized business continuity and a staged migration path, using SAP BW bridge to support current data streams until full deployment on SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, and later to assist transition into a consolidated data warehouse. The result delivered improved performance and loading times, a consistent user experience for business users, and faster access to near real time financial insights. SAP Analytics Cloud in the Analytics and BI category provided the front end for reporting and planning while the combined SAP Datasphere and SAP BW bridge architecture simplified the overall landscape and maximized reuse of prior SAP investments.
