Integrations tied the Oracle Retail Merchandising System data flows to Oracle JD Edwards World, ACS and RMS, and the mobile and web publishing layer enabled sales staff to query inventory and initiate transfers from point of interaction.
Governance and process changes focused on replacing manual transfer dockets with a mobile transfer workflow and publishing order entry for eCommerce. Outcomes reported from the program included an increase in sales of 16 percent during the early months of adoption and stock accuracy improving to 97 to 98 percent from roughly 90 percent prior to mobile access.
