In 2019, AMN Healthcare implemented Kofax Mobile Capture as part of an Intelligent Document Processing effort to automate staffing and timekeeping document intake. The U.S. implementation used Tungsten Automation's mobile capture solution together with TotalAgility and RPA and was delivered with partner Genus Technologies.
The deployment focused on mobile capture and downstream document processing capabilities typical of Intelligent Document Processing, including mobile intake of timecards and credential images, automated OCR based data extraction, classification and validation workflows, and orchestration into business process flows. Kofax Mobile Capture was configured to standardize capture templates and to trigger automated verification and exception handling before documents entered core workflows.
Integrations were implemented with TotalAgility for workflow orchestration and with RPA for hands off processing to downstream HR and timekeeping systems, enabling end to end automation from field capture through data posting. Operational scope covered staffing and timekeeping functions in the United States and handled processing of healthcare workers timecards and key credentials across recruiting and payroll touchpoints.
Governance and rollout were managed with Genus Technologies as the systems integrator, formalizing capture to workflow handoffs and exception management rules. The project eliminated lost timecards, delivered 100% system uptime and saved approximately 5,400 man hours as reported by the implementation partner.
