The deployment used a cloud-based architecture to provide remote access for sales and finance staff and to centralize transactional and master data. Functional capabilities configured included multi-site inventory management, order-to-cash workflows, purchasing and vendor management, financials with customer pricing controls, and credit assessment workflows to measure vendor and customer credit worthiness. Eagle Fence also instrumented built-in reporting and analytics in Acumatica Cloud ERP Distribution Edition to give executives consolidated visibility for supply chain issues and cost analysis. Eagle Fence engaged i-Tech Support as the implementation partner, a choice that shortened implementation time and reduced costs by leveraging partner familiarity with the business. The project consolidated five separate Sage 50 instances into a single cloud ERP, removing dependency on branch servers and VPN access and enabling real-time inventory visibility and cross-location data consistency. The centralized architecture also established a single source of truth for customer, product, and pricing master data. Governance and process work focused on standardizing product and customer naming conventions and creating a new-location roll-out roadmap to enable rapid expansion of distribution sites. Reported outcomes include optimized inventory management across locations, increased collaboration and productivity between sites, remote access for sales and finance, improved ability to measure credit worthiness, and access to critical data that supported strategic decisions and revenue growth during the pandemic.
