In 2022, Eissmann Group Automotive implemented Logpoint SIEM to centralize log management and add SAP-security monitoring across its global IT estate. The Logpoint SIEM deployment, classified as Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), established a centralized event collection and normalization layer to improve visibility for IT security and SAP operations.
Deployment integrated more than 100 log sources, consolidating device, server, application and SAP telemetry into the Logpoint SIEM platform. Governance and rollout included partner-led SAP integration and phased onboarding of the 100+ sources to the centralized Logpoint SIEM environment, aligning SIEM alerts with SAP operations workflows. The initiative improved transparency for IT security and SAP operations as stated in the case study.
