Bavarian State Parliament | Government | 500 | $1.0B | Germany | Docusnap | Docusnap | Hardware Asset Management (HAM),Software Asset Management (SAM),IT Asset Management (ITAM),SaaS Spend Management | 2019 |
In 2019 the Bavarian State Parliament implemented Docusnap for Hardware Asset Management (HAM),Software Asset Management (SAM),IT Asset Management (ITAM),SaaS Spend Management to establish an automated, authoritative inventory and documentation platform for its parliamentary IT estate. The implementation addressed the IT-Referat requirement to manage clients and servers of the Landtagsamt and the network infrastructure that serves multiple parliamentary factions, while preserving strict segregation between faction environments and enabling shared central applications.
Docusnap was configured to perform automated discovery and inventory of the complete hardware and software landscape, to maintain a continuously updated IT documentation corpus, and to analyze user access rights for clearer visibility into actual data access. The deployment included license management capabilities to reconcile installed software with required installations, reducing the risk of over- or under-licensing, and automated scan-driven updates so documentation is refreshed with each inventory cycle.
Operational coverage focused on the Bavarian State Parliament IT-Referat, spanning client endpoints, on-premises servers and the faction network segments that require separation, with central application usage documented for cross-fragment access. The project was executed by keepbit SOLUTION GmbH, which implemented Docusnap scans and the documentation workflows that feed a central repository used by IT operations for daily tasks and audits.
Governance and process changes centered on shifting documentation maintenance from manual, time intensive tasks to automated scans and system-managed records, allowing the IT-Referat to reallocate staff effort to core responsibilities. Project lead Adnan Bastürk of keepbit SOLUTION GmbH stated that the use of Docusnap saves the parliament money, and the organization reported measurable time and cost savings through automated documentation and simplified license oversight.

In 2018, Creditreform Group implemented SolarWinds Access Rights Manager to strengthen Identity and Access Management (IAM) across its Hamburg operations. The project targeted real time auditing and automated compliance reporting for Active Directory, Exchange and file server permissions, and keepbit SOLUTION served as the system integrator for configuration and rollout with IT, security and compliance stakeholders leading the effort.
SolarWinds Access Rights Manager was configured to collect continuous entitlement data, generate permission inventories and produce audit trails and formal compliance reports. The implementation applied the product's auditing and reporting capabilities to establish repeatable access certification workflows, permission review processes and remediation routing for account and group entitlement issues.
Integrations in the deployment scope included Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange and on-premises file servers, providing centralized visibility into user accounts, group memberships and NTFS style permissions. The Germany project completed configuration, testing and rollout for the Hamburg office within a matter of weeks, delivering a unified permission view across directory, messaging and file systems.
Governance was adjusted to operationalize the audit-ready reports and to clarify ownership of access rights, with IT, security and compliance teams executing the new reporting cadence. The rollout produced audit ready reports and clearer permission governance for Creditreform Hamburg as documented in the project notes.
