In 2018, Precipart Group USA implemented Infor XA as its Manufacturing ERP in a coordinated Infor ERP, CRM and BI program intended to consolidate disparate systems across the global business. The deployment of Infor XA was positioned as the transactional backbone for order processing and inventory control, integrated with Infor CRM and Infor BI to provide unified operational visibility for sales, customer service and finance.
SyncSite served as the implementation partner and CRM business partner, integrating Infor XA with Infor CRM and participating in data migration activities. The project migrated data from three disparate systems into the consolidated environment, and configured automated order-to-cash workflows so order data flows in real time from the ERP to the CRM and BI layers. Infor XA was configured to support order management and to feed customer and analytics applications, while Infor CRM handled sales automation and customer communications.
Operational coverage encompassed three business units and extended across Precipart locations in the United States, Switzerland, the U.K. and India, aligning sales, customer service and finance on a single platform. Integrations implemented included real-time ERP to CRM data synchronization and ERP to BI feeds for reporting, enabling consolidated customer and financial views and removing manual reconciliation work.
Governance changes centralized data ownership and standardized processes to eliminate previous workarounds such as multiple spreadsheets and duplicate data entry. As a result, three business units now operate as one, automated communications keep customers apprised of order status, and streamlined communication has improved service levels and productivity across the enterprise.
