In 2015, Australian Volunteers International implemented Oracle NetSuite OneWorld as its ERP Financial platform. The deployment was scoped to support finance and accounting across a multi-entity environment that spanned a network of 23 offices and the organizations staff and operations supported by the IT team.
Oracle NetSuite OneWorld was configured to provide core financial modules including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, multi-currency accounting, intercompany processing and consolidated financial reporting. Configuration work focused on chart of accounts harmonization, role based access controls and period close workflows consistent with ERP Financial operational requirements.
Integrations were implemented to connect Oracle NetSuite OneWorld with the organizations existing systems landscape, notably Salesforce CRM for CRM to finance data flows and Microsoft 365 for identity, email and user provisioning. The IT environment administered by AVI included Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure for infrastructure and secure connectivity, Slack and Atlassian products for operational notification and ticketing, and Avaya for telephony, all of which were considered integration and support touchpoints during rollout.
Vertic served as the implementation partner responsible for system configuration, data migration and staged rollout across offices. Governance emphasis centered on standardized accounting processes, centralized access controls and IT operations support, with Network and Systems Administration providing ongoing administration, maintenance and user support for Oracle NetSuite OneWorld.
