The Magento 2 templates and custom modules were positioned to support catalog management, checkout flows, and transactional ordering typical of eCommerce platforms.
Integrations were explicitly implemented with third party systems and a medicines database, these integrations were embedded into the ordering engine to align product data and order orchestration across web and mobile channels. Quality assurance and deployment were provided across the entire solution, covering both the website and mobile site versions, and ongoing maintenance and enhancements were delivered as part of the engagement.
WeDigTech acted as the implementation partner and worked under a delivery plan focused on faster turnaround times, executing an initial four month engagement followed by a 1.5 year retainer for continued support. Governance included direct collaboration with Apollo Pharmacy’s digital leadership and CTO to prioritize feature delivery and to operationalize maintenance and enhancement workflows for the eCommerce platform.
