In 2018, Worley India implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its ERP Financial platform concurrent with the acquisition of Jacobs Energy, Chemicals & Resources division. The deployment architecture included multiple EBS release tracks, specifically Oracle E-Business Suite R12.1.3 and R12.2.6, running on Oracle databases at 11.2.4 and 12.1.0 with applied patch sets noted as 11.2.0.4 and 12.1.0.2 during installation and configuration. Technical workstreams executed by the delivery team included environment provisioning, migrations, patching, database clones and Windows database migrations, together with installation and configuration of OLM Content Server on WebLogic Server.
Wissen Infotech served as the system integrator on the engagement and led configuration activities for ERP Financial capabilities. The implementation concentrated on core financial workflows common to ERP Financial systems, including general ledger controls, accounts payable processing, accounts receivable operations and statutory localization, with localization language patches applied for India, Cheli and Belgium to support multi-country accounting and statutory reporting.
Operational scope encompassed finance and accounting functions across Worley and the acquired ECR business lines, aligning chart of accounts and localization settings to regional statutory requirements. Governance and rollout processes included coordinated patch cycles, clone based testing and ongoing environment maintenance procedures to support parallel R12.1.3 and R12.2.6 release tracks, with the project maintained in production from October 2018 onward.
