Configuration emphasized AR Automation capabilities aligned with category expectations, including promise to pay tracking, exception management, cash application workflows, payment matching and ledger reconciliation. Operational governance assigned AR analysts the responsibility to log and document customer payment promises and related exceptions in FIS GETPAID, enforce role based access to sensitive payment records, and maintain timestamped audit trails so that the platform served as the single source of record for payment promise handling and dispute documentation.

In 2017 Dell implemented Workday Absence Management to support Absence and Leave Management across HR operations, assigning HRIS administration responsibility to an existing Fieldglass Administrator. The rollout encompassed Workday Leave of Absence and Workday Personal Data configuration while the administrator retained Fieldglass duties, consolidating leave and contingent workforce administration under a single HRIS owner.
Configuration work expanded leave of absence rules into new countries in tandem with the Workday Time Tracking and Absence Management roadmap, focusing on region specific entitlements, eligibility rules, and workflow orchestration. The team built Workday reports to enable robotic process automation between Workday and ServiceNow, and is leading efforts to share complex entitlement balances between Time Off and Leave of Absence modules within Workday.
Integrations explicitly included Fieldglass for contingent workforce management and ServiceNow for ticketing and automation, with consulting and support for integration updates as part of the LOA expansion projects. Operational scope emphasized multi country rollouts and cross functional impact across HR operations, time and attendance, and contingent workforce governance, including region specific Fieldglass solutions to address IR35 compliance functionality.
Governance centered on centralized HRIS administration for Workday Leave of Absence and Workday Personal Data, with configuration ownership, reporting standards, and integration change control coordinated by the HRIS Administrator. Implementation activities included designing rulesets, building reports to support automation, and coordinating integration updates while maintaining ongoing Fieldglass administration to preserve end to end leave and contingent worker compliance.

In 2017 Dell implemented Salesforce Field Service (ex ClickSoftware) as its Field Service Management platform to architect field scheduling and dispatch using the Salesforce Field Service Lightning module. The engagement centered on designing scheduling rules, resource skill matching, and dispatch console workflows to support manufacturing service operations.
The architecture specified configuration of Field Scheduling and Dispatch capabilities, bulk case and work order creation pipelines, and a non agent case creation process using standard APIs. Case creation and collaboration for Service Cloud were designed using Salesforce Flow and Lightning Components to standardize service intake, escalation, and technician collaboration.
Integration design included a Salesforce Dispatch integration with ClickSoftware and complex interfaces to external systems for master data synchronization, routing inputs, and consolidated reporting. The design also defined interfaces for parts and time debriefs to external systems, combining API driven near real time calls with bulk extraction and reporting feeds to support downstream ERPs and analytics systems.
Governance work produced a migration roadmap to Salesforce Lightning Service Cloud, with recommended change control for master data, interface versioning, and phased rollout of scheduling and dispatch features. Operational scope covered service operations and field technician workflows within Dell Manufacturing, with governance focused on data ownership, integration validation, and staged deployment of Flow and Lightning Component based case handling.
