In 2020, AdventCare Whitehorse implemented TechnologyOne ERP as its ERP Financial solution to centralize accounting and reporting across its aged care footprint. The Financial Controller led the program, covering two Aged Care facilities with 224 beds and four Retirement Villages with 202 units in Victoria, and focused the rollout on accounting, finance and management reporting capabilities.
The deployment included Technology One Financials and Technology One HR & Payroll as core modules, with configuration work targeting general ledger consolidation, accounts payable and receivable processing, budgeting workflows and management reporting enhancements. EzeScan was implemented for document capture and electronic records linking, and Telstra Health Resident Manager was implemented as the resident care system in the project scope.
Integration points were established between TechnologyOne ERP and Telstra Health Resident Manager, Technology One HR & Payroll and EzeScan to enable transactional posting, payroll provisioning and scanned document attachment to financial records. Operational coverage spanned finance and HR departments across all Victorian sites, with data flows designed to support period close, reconciliation and budget cycles.
Program governance formalized ownership under the Financial Controller and included a rework of budgeting and management reporting processes, along with the development and approval of an Investment Management Strategy aligned to denominational investment policy. The TechnologyOne ERP implementation and associated system integrations produced an overhaul and enhancement of budgeting and management reporting and centralized finance process management across AdventCare Whitehorse.

The implementation was executed alongside Technology One Financials, Telstra Health Resident Manager, and EzeScan for an integrated operational stack. Integration points exchanged employee master data and payroll cost journals with Technology One Financials, synchronized staffing and resident care rosters with Telstra Health Resident Manager, and routed scanned HR documents through EzeScan.
The Financial Controller led and managed the project from Melbourne and coordinated rollout across all sites, establishing finance led governance and revised management reporting. The program included an overhaul and enhancement of budgeting and management reporting as part of the wider systems work.
