In 2020, ALH Group implemented Aurion Core HR as the enterprise Core HR platform to consolidate payroll and HR administration for its leisure and hospitality operations. The implementation supported an employee base of approximately 15,000 and replaced Frontier Software iChris, referenced in project notes as Chris21.
The Aurion Core HR deployment centered on core HR and payroll modules, with solution architecture defined to support employee master data, position management, pay templates and payroll processing workflows. Configuration emphasis included business requirement definition, data model mapping and role based security, with automation of standard Core HR workflows such as onboarding and pay run preparation.
Integrations were scoped and supported for time and attendance systems, reflecting a timekeeping transition from Timeteq to Tanda as part of the program. Interfaces were designed to feed validated time and leave data into Aurion Core HR payroll processes and to enable HR operational reporting and downstream payroll calculations.
Governance and program execution were led by an Operational Business Analyst on contract from Feb 2020 to Mar 2021, responsible for requirements capture, core solution architecture design and coordination between HR operations, payroll and timekeeping teams. The engagement emphasized configuration governance, end to end process rework across HR and payroll and staged cutover planning to align Aurion Core HR with the new timekeeping platform.
