In 2019, Altus Enterprises implemented Lauranka Time Clock, a Time and Attendance application in New Zealand to remove the need for time-consuming manual timesheets across its 120 employee nonprofit. The deployment used contactless MorphoWave readers for biometric time capture, centralizing punch and scan records into the Lauranka Time Clock platform to provide a single source of attendance data for HR and payroll processes.
Lauranka Time Clock was configured to export accurate time data to payroll and included a custom absent report noted in the vendor case study, supporting day to day payroll processing and absence monitoring. Operational coverage focused on HR, payroll staff, and frontline supervisors, with governance adjustments that shifted timesheet verification into the application and established supervisor review workflows for attendance exceptions, improving supervisor efficiency and payroll accuracy as reported in the case study.
