The implementation configured and extended core modules of Cognizant TriZetto Facets for enrollment, claims adjudication, billing, provider interfaces, and regulatory support including ICD-10 related changes. Implementation work included configuration for process automation and real-time services, and supported integrations with health information exchange interfaces plus mobile application endpoints as part of broadened operational capabilities.
Delivery and operating model shifted control from external consultants to an internal App Development and IS organization, with a 100+ member internal team taking ownership of configuration, customizations, and ongoing support. Governance and execution were organized around value streams for Medicaid plans, with IS teams accountable for delivery, budgetary oversight, and coordination of cross functional stakeholders.
AmeriHealth Caritas used Cognizant TriZetto Facets to deliver multimillion dollar initiatives that addressed regulatory compliance, process automation, and efficiency improvement for Medicaid administration.
