| Bloomberg | Legacy | Bloomberg AIM | Portfolio and Investment Management | Investment Management | n/a | 2016 | 2016 | In 2016, AMF Pension implemented Bloomberg AIM as its front office portfolio system, positioning Bloomberg AIM within its Portfolio and Investment Management stack to support global equities investment workflows. The deployment was centered on portfolio and order lifecycle capabilities, with the application used by portfolio managers and trading teams based in Stockholm, Sweden. Bloomberg AIM was configured to provide core portfolio management, order management, compliance controls, performance reporting, and trade lifecycle visibility. Configuration work emphasized instrument hierarchy, mandate constraints, pre and post trade compliance rules, and reporting templates aligned to institutional reporting and performance measurement needs. Operational architecture placed Bloomberg AIM alongside existing investment operations platforms, with AMF operating Bloomberg AIM in the front office while managing SimCorp Dimension in parallel for investment accounting and reconciliation. The environment supported reconciliation workflows between front office positions and middle office accounting, and the platform was staffed by portfolio and system management roles responsible for daily trade processing and configuration changes. Governance and ownership included a named System Manager who administered both Bloomberg AIM and SimCorp Dimension from April 2017 through October 2018, covering configuration governance, release coordination, and operational support processes. Rollout and ongoing operations focused on aligning front-office portfolio controls and order workflows with middle-office accounting procedures without reported changes to enterprise sourcing partners. | |
