AMOS Group initiated an SAP S/4HANA ERP Financial transformation in 2017, replacing a legacy SAP ERP ECC 6.0 environment. The program delivered SAP S/4HANA 1809 as the new global ERP platform, taking a global blueprint live during a deployment program that ran through 2018–2020; the implementation was completed on schedule and within the approved budget. AMOS obtained formal approval for the S/4HANA project and executed the technical and process cutovers required to move core finance and related ERP functionality onto the S/4HANA 1809 release.
The S/4HANA deployment formed the centerpiece of a broader IT consolidation and post‑merger integration agenda. IT leadership produced a 3.5‑year strategic roadmap and unified IT architecture following M&A activity, standardized governance via a newly established Center of Excellence, and reorganized the global IT team and support model into a Global IT Service Hub. Complementary initiatives executed alongside the ERP rollout included tenant‑to‑tenant and hybrid Microsoft 365 migration, VM migration, application rationalization, HRIS and RFID evaluations, integration planning and milestone execution, post‑merger change management alignment, and budget/financial recovery planning for application enhancements and optimizations.

In 2022, AMOS Group implemented BIPO HRMS to centralize Core HR functions and strengthen HR analytics and payroll controls across its Singapore operations and regional reporting lines. The deployment targeted employee database management, payroll processing for Singapore, leave administration, claims management, rewards administration, and HR reporting to support the Group HR and HRBP networks.
Configuration emphasized HR analytics and reporting capabilities, configuring BIPO HRMS to capture headcount, turnover, retention, diversity and payroll transaction data, and to feed dynamic dashboards. The implementation included design of standardized data models and validation rules, configuration of payroll cycles, and setup of workforce planning and rewards modules to support salary structure and incentive analysis.
Operational integration focused on aligning BIPO HRMS outputs with Group HR and Group Finance processes and with HRBP workflows for regional consolidation. Analytics workflows were extended to modern BI tools such as Power BI to produce leadership dashboards and regional reports, enabling consolidated HR reporting across multiple countries while maintaining Singapore payroll compliance and records accuracy.
Governance workstreams formalized HRIS ownership, data integrity controls, payroll procedures and audit support, and introduced process automation for onboarding, terminations and payroll reconciliations. The deployment supported stated objectives of accurate and timely employee payments, regulatory compliance for payroll and tax obligations in Singapore, and ongoing HR process improvements through enhanced reporting and automation.
