In 2019, Aqualia Group implemented HiRUM PMS. The deployment focused on the Beachcomber Byron property and integrated the HiRUM PMS booking interface directly on their website to centralize reservation intake and online booking flows.
HiRUM PMS was configured to deliver core Hotel Property Management capabilities including reservations and front desk operations, rate and availability management, guest profile and billing workflows, and housekeeping status tracking. The HiRUM PMS implementation included an embedded online booking engine on the public site to capture direct bookings and to maintain synchronized inventory and rates through the property management layer.
Operational coverage was single site, operated by a small on site operations team with a central reservation administrator using HiRUM PMS as the system of record. Governance emphasized consolidated reservation workflows, role based access for front office, reservations, and housekeeping users, and day to day operations administered through the HiRUM PMS interface.
