| SAP | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | SAP S/4 HANA | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2024 | 2025 |
In 2024 Arc'teryx implemented SAP S/4 HANA for ERP Financial, replacing SAP ERP ECC 6.0 and aligning the finance and controlling landscape with a Fashion and Vertical Business Solution connected to SAP CAR, IBP and ECC AFS. The program was scoped and staffed inside the ERP and Business Applications organization, with the finance organization identified as the primary business function receiving the SAP S/4 HANA ERP Financial deployment.
The deployment focused on core SAP Finance and Controlling capabilities, explicitly configuring General Ledger FI-GL, Accounts Payable FI-AP, Accounts Receivable FI-AR, Asset Accounting FI-AA, and Special Purpose Ledger FI-SL, together with cost element accounting, cost center accounting, internal order accounting, profit center accounting, product costing and Profitability Analysis. The implementation included SAP Digital Payment Add On DPAO and SAP Customer Cloud Payment CCP, and used Fiori apps and SAP reporting tools to support month end and year end close processes, detailed functional specifications, workflows, interfaces, conversions, enhancements and forms. Testing and quality activities were organized around unit testing, functional testing and system integration testing following Arc'teryx standards.
Integrations were built to existing retail and commerce ecosystems, with explicit interface connections mentioned to SVS, Adyen, TAS, ECC and Vertex, and architectural linkage to SAP CAR and IBP for retail and planning flows. The S/4 HANA workstream was positioned to partner closely with Retail, e-commerce, Logistics, Omnichannel and Sourcing teams to support cross functional finance integration and transactional reconciliation patterns.
Governance and operating model changes were implemented through a senior finance functional consultancy layer, where a Senior SAP Functional Consultant provided design leadership and day to day direction for finance functional consultants. Change request handling was formalized from process design through functional specification and implementation, with the team providing 2nd and 3rd level support, producing training materials, participating in release training and maintaining alignment with SAP best practices and the Solution Manager driven methodology. Occasional system maintenance outside regular hours was included in the operational scope to support global finance cutovers and sustainment activities.

In 2012, Arc'teryx implemented Lever by Employ as their Applicant Tracking System. Lever by Employ is used on the Arc'teryx careers website to capture candidate applications and manage job listings, consolidating inbound applications into a centralized recruiting platform for the company's talent acquisition function.
The deployment emphasizes core ATS capabilities aligned with the Applicant Tracking System category, including job posting management, configurable candidate pipelines, structured candidate profiles, interview coordination, offer workflow tracking, and recruitment reporting. Configurations focus on pipeline stage automation and recruiter workflow configuration to support screening and interview orchestration.
On the integration and operational side, Lever by Employ is embedded in the public careers pages so applications submitted through the site flow directly into the Lever instance, preserving application metadata and attachments for downstream review. Operational coverage centers on talent acquisition and hiring manager coordination, with candidate records routed to recruiting teams for screening, interview scheduling, and offer processing.
Governance and process controls are organized around standardized candidate intake and pipeline controls, recruiter and hiring manager access permissions, and configured approval gates for offer progression. Lever by Employ serves as the system of record for applicant data captured via the Arc'teryx careers website, enabling consistent candidate tracking across open roles.
