In 2019 Asprey International Limited implemented SAP Business One as its ERP Financial solution to support the companys finance and accounting operations. The initial engagement was a three month contract reporting to the Finance Director to remediate accounting issues after SAP Business One go live and to assist preparation of statutory financial statements for external audit. The contract was extended multiple times and the consultant moved into a sustained operational role within the finance department.
SAP Business One was used to manage core financial accounting workflows including roll forward reconciliations of SAP B1 ledger balances to statutory accounts for three operating legal entities, intercompany reconciliations, and reconciliation of intercompany stock transfers. The implementation also encompassed statutory pack preparation for seven legal entities worldwide, production of a group consolidation statement and workings for external audit, and preparation of external audit working papers for U.K. and U.S. legal entities. Financial analysis capabilities were leveraged for margin and breakeven analysis by store product and channel, and an accounting policies and procedures document was prepared to codify month end and audit routines.
Operational coverage was focused on the finance function across multiple jurisdictions with responsibilities that included reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, FX revaluation and conversion routines in SAP Business One to identify unrealised gains and losses, and the production of daily and weekly sales reports by store location and channel. Billing operations for wholesale and export channels worldwide were executed through SAP Business One and the system served as the transactional backbone for monthly management accounts work, specifically review of accruals and provisions for bad debts. The workstreams described centered on company finance, statutory reporting and commercial billing processes.
Governance and process activity included embedding roll forward and intercompany reconciliation procedures into regular month end close, establishing FX revaluation routines inside SAP Business One, preparing consolidated audit deliverables, and documenting accounting policies for internal use. The delivery model moved from short term project remediation to ongoing finance operations and control ownership, with the consultant supporting both specific projects and day to day finance functions within the ERP Financial environment.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP BW (Business Warehouse) | Data Warehouse | Analytics and BI | n/a | 2010 | 2010 |
In 2010, Asprey International Limited implemented SAP BW (Business Warehouse) as a Data Warehouse to support its finance reporting and month end activities. The BW deployment was established to generate the monthly management accounts that report to the Finance Director and to standardize recurring close processes across the UK and local companies.
SAP BW (Business Warehouse) was configured to consolidate and stage transactional finance data from SAP, providing ETL, data modeling and a query/reporting layer used by finance teams. The implementation captured the financial calculation logic required for the monthly pack, including prepayments, accruals, payroll, depreciation, stock provision, interest calculation, rent and rates, travel advances and other related journals. InfoProviders and query artifacts were organized to support ledger and subledger reconciliation, period close rollups and drill down analysis.
Operational ownership remained within the finance function, with outputs consumed by the Finance Director and month end execution performed by finance staff using SAP and BW. Governance focused on structured monthly close routines, ETL data validation and defined handoffs for journal preparation and posting workflows into SAP transactional ledgers. The configuration emphasized centralized financial reporting within a Data Warehouse architecture to ensure consistent account calculations and management account packs across group entities.

In 2018, Asprey International Limited implemented Microsoft 365 as its Collaboration platform. The presence of Microsoft 365 artifacts on the Asprey website indicates the Microsoft 365 tenant is being leveraged in public-facing contexts as well as internal collaboration channels. This deployment corresponds to organization-wide adoption for a company of approximately 160 employees in the manufacturing sector.
The implementation aligns with standard Collaboration functional patterns and appears to include core Microsoft 365 capabilities such as Exchange Online email, SharePoint Online content and intranet, OneDrive file services, Microsoft Teams collaboration, and Office desktop and web applications. Tenant-level configuration is likely to include cloud identity and access controls, document governance settings, and site content publishing configurations to support corporate communications and document workflows. Governance and rollout focus would center on centralized tenant administration, defined access and publishing policies, and content lifecycle controls across corporate functions.
