In 2018, Aston Martin implemented Infor LN as its Manufacturing ERP to unify core manufacturing, supply chain, procurement and project financials. The implementation positioned Infor LN ERP to provide real-time visibility and analytics across production and distribution workflows for Aston Martin Lagonda.
Configuration work centered on inventory control, procurement analytics, supply chain reporting, financial management and project management capabilities within Infor LN. Inventory control was configured with automated stock control protocols, regular inventory processes, and reconciliation workflows, and the platform supported root cause analysis of count variances and data accuracy checks used by inventory analysts.
Infor LN operated alongside Goldcrest in operational practice for inventory control and procurement analytics, with both systems used to surface real-time datasets for logistics and replenishment analysis. Operational coverage included warehouse and purchasing teams and extended to manufacturing sites such as the Gaydon site, where analysts performed frequent data inspections and cross-team verification to address material supply and system record inconsistencies.
Governance and process changes emphasized formalized inventory reconciliation, transaction auditing, and collaborative workflows between warehouse, purchasing and inventory control functions. Analysts leveraged Infor LN ERP capabilities and procedural fixes to minimize discrepancies, improve supply chain efficiency and improve data accuracy, while the environment retained cloud-based ERP interoperability with Goldcrest for supplemental manufacturing reporting.

| Salesforce | Legacy | Salesforce Agentforce (formerly Einstein Copilot) | Chatbots and Conversational AI | AI-Powered Application | n/a | 2024 | 2024 |
In 2024, Aston Martin deployed Salesforce Agentforce formerly Einstein Copilot on the Einstein 1 platform to centralize fragmented customer data and enable ultra-personalized luxury experiences across its retail and service network. Customer records had been dispersed across six systems and 150 dealerships, representing over two million customer data points, creating a requirement for a unified platform that consolidates warehouse, ERP, Databricks, and CRM sources into a single operational view.
The implementation centered on Data Cloud to create unified customer profiles and Automotive Cloud to capture dealership visit histories, vehicle renderings, and service interactions. Commerce Cloud was configured to support proactive parts replacement ordering, and Marketing Cloud was used to generate personalized email and SMS campaigns. Salesforce Agentforce formerly Einstein Copilot was applied as a conversational AI layer, specifically using Einstein Copilot for Marketing to assist dealers and marketing teams in generating tailored campaign content and recommended customization bundles during the manufacturing and ownership lifecycle.
MuleSoft is the integration backbone, unifying data across the warehouse management system, Infor ERP, Databricks, Marketing Cloud, and Tableau, and synchronizing updates from the Aston Martin mobile app across systems. The deployment also leverages Salesforce on Alibaba Cloud to retain sensitive data within China for compliance, and integrates Sales Cloud and Partner Relationship Management workflows with regional messaging platforms WeChat and WeCom to reflect local communication preferences. The architecture therefore combines the Einstein 1 platform, Data Cloud, Automotive Cloud, and MuleSoft APIs to present a consolidated customer profile to sales and service agents.
Governance and rollouts were guided by a central API management model, with MuleSoft used to centrally manage, govern, and secure APIs across the estate. Consulting partner Arlanis Reply helped accelerate the Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud go live, achieving initial production use in four months, cited as 20 percent faster than the standard implementation timeline. Operational coverage includes Aston Martin corporate teams and dealer personnel who use unified profiles, customer star ratings, and lookalike modeling to prioritize high-touch engagement and to refine post-purchase personalization workflows.
The program positions Aston Martin to use Chatbots and Conversational AI in conjunction with unified data to support dealer conversations, generate personalized marketing at scale, and recommend customer specific customizations during the order to delivery period. Salesforce Agentforce formerly Einstein Copilot is presented as the conversational interface that surfaces profile intelligence from Data Cloud and Automotive Cloud to assist sales, service, and marketing functions across Aston Martin’s global retail network.
