Certn was integrated directly with ATB Financials applicant tracking system to enable end to end screening orchestration and to surface results inside recruiter workflows. The deployment used Certn as a cloud delivered BackGround Screening platform with operational ownership by HR and Talent Acquisition, and result adjudication routed to hiring managers for final decisioning.
Governance and process changes established standardized screening policies and centralized result review within HR to streamline compliance and reduce variance in screening decisions. The vendor case study reports a faster turnaround in screening, noted as 3x faster following the Certn integration.

Architecturally the initiative used a centralized ledger and service oriented, API first design to enable real time posting and composable operational services that support branch, contact center, and back office workflows. Bancon led configuration, testing and platform stabilization activities while ATB Financial aligned IT and operations to the new application architecture and operational runbooks.
Program governance was established with a cross functional steering committee and change management processes to coordinate rollout, data governance, testing, and training across business functions. Operational ownership was transitioned to internal banking operations and IT teams through staged cutover plans and ongoing support arrangements with Bancon and SAP Fioneer on the platform.
