Oracle Legacy Oracle PeopleSoft ERP ERP Financial ERP Capgemini 2017 2018
In 2017, AXA US deployed Oracle PeopleSoft ERP as its ERP Financial solution, engaging Capgemini to lead the PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 rollout across core finance functions. The implementation positioned Oracle PeopleSoft ERP to serve AXA US finance and treasury business functions with a focus on financial master data governance and transactional controls. The rollout included detailed configuration of master data components, specifically chart of accounts, table set controls, chart field setup, business unit configuration, accounting templates, and bank setup. Teams configured and unit tested Netting functionality and treasury processes, and PeopleSoft security was designed and managed with a dedicated security administrator role to enforce role based access and user list tracking. Deployment and release management used development and higher instances for configuration management, with configuration migration performed using data mover scripts. The project incorporated structured test planning, test case creation, integration testing with development teams, user acceptance testing support, data conversion activities, and ongoing pre production and BAU support during the warrant period to stabilize operations for finance and treasury users. Governance and delivery followed an agile informed cadence with daily stand up meetings, daily status reporting to management, design workshops, and formal deliverables such as Functional Design Documents and user manuals. Capgemini executed training, transaction walkthroughs for end users, and operational handover activities, and the engagement documented recognized achievements including an Excellence in Run Automation award in 2018 and performance ranked in the top 2 percent of the PeopleSoft practice, with the consultant team noting experience on large scale projects totaling CAD 4.9 million.

SAP Legacy SAP Commissions (ex Callidus Commissions) Incentive Compensation Management SPM n/a 2014 2014
In 2014, AXA US implemented SAP Commissions (ex Callidus Commissions) as its Incentive Compensation Management platform. The deployment was managed through AXA IT in close coordination with the PMO and business stakeholders, with operational scope focused on Life Wholesale and Life Retail distribution and extended coverage to Annuity Wholesale and Employee Benefits. Configuration work emphasized commission calculation engines, plan and rule configuration, commission lifecycle processing, and later Commission UI front end adoption. The implementation supported Guaranteed Death Benefit and GDC compensation flows for life wholesale and life retail, and included conversion projects from Callidus TrueComp to Callidus Monaco as well as migration activities involving Monaco's Incentive Management to Commission UI. Integrations were centered on consolidating three distinct licensing, appointment, and contracting platforms onto a single strategic solution, with vendor research and high level requirements gathering conducted as part of that initiative. The commission platform workstreams required coordination with underwriting and distribution channels to align commission calculations with licensing and contracting processes. Governance and delivery used a business analyst led model, with a Lead IT Business Analyst embedded across IT, PMO, and business areas who served as the primary IT point person for Life Wholesale and Life Retail GDC compensation. The lead BA designed and executed a new IT liaison role supporting Life Underwriting that became an integral part of underwriting operations, and led an 18 month conversion project that consolidated commission processing for life wholesale and retail.
