In 2018 BankMD implemented Nymbus Onboard to establish a digital-first onboarding capability for a niche bank serving medical professionals. The Nymbus Onboard implementation was delivered as part of a Nymbus SmartLaunch engagement that included internet and mobile banking and outsourced operations, with an operational scope focused on the United States and a physician customer segment.
The deployment concentrated on customer onboarding and retail banking processes, implementing digital account opening, identity verification and KYC orchestration, account provisioning and workflow automation consistent with Onboarding category capabilities. Nymbus Onboard interfaced with the front-end internet and mobile channels and fed into the outsourced operations model, supporting retail banking functions and customer lifecycle management, and the program went live in 2019 to expand BankMDs digital reach into the physician market.

In 2020 BankMD implemented Nymbus Core to deliver Core Banking capabilities across its online channels. The implementation follows standard core banking architecture patterns, centralizing ledger and posting logic in Nymbus Core while exposing channel integration points to the web front end to support online banking functions.
