In 2016 Barton and Loguidice implemented Deltek Vision as its ERP Financial application. The deployment targeted engineering and administrative operations across Pennsylvania and Maryland, with documented day-to-day usage at the Camp Hill, PA office supporting timesheet entry, opportunity capture, and client data maintenance.
Deltek Vision was used to maintain timesheets, enter prospective numbers for new opportunities, and store client information, reflecting core ERP Financial workflows for timekeeping, opportunity pipeline capture, and client record management. Configuration and usage patterns recorded by staff align with project-oriented financial and administrative controls, including routine maintenance of daily reports and logs that feed downstream financial and project processes.
Operationally the application was used alongside M-Files and the Microsoft Office suite for document management and client communications, with staff using Outlook, Word, Excel and PDF tools in parallel with Deltek Vision. The system supported business functions across finance, project administration and engineering administration, with the Group Technical Assistant role explicitly performing data entry, timesheet maintenance, and support for onboarding and training activities.
Governance and rollout emphasized user onboarding and hands-on training, with internal staff assisting new employee training and maintaining procedural artifacts such as meeting minutes, transmittals and practice libraries. The implementation narrative centers on embedding Deltek Vision into routine office operations and project administrative processes rather than on external integrations or measurable outcome claims.
