Architecturally, the program specified cloud extension and integration patterns with CPI Cloud Foundry and the SAP Business Technology Platform, with explicit API design for cross‑module data flows and eventing via Intelligent Services. The platform architect role covered design of data models, integration security and orchestration, and oversight of system integration testing and user acceptance testing to validate end to end scenarios.
Governance was organized through agile delivery teams and product delivery coordination, with the SuccessFactors Platform Architect providing technical guidance, configuration governance and approval pathways for extensions. Data protection and cyber security controls were enforced in integration designs and data models to ensure compliance with enterprise requirements for personnel data.
BASF SAP SuccessFactors Compensation Compensation Management impacted HR and talent management functions including compensation administration, performance calibration, recruiting interfacing and learning record alignment, operating across BASF Group operations worldwide. Operational coverage targeted chemical sites and supported maintenance, reliability engineering and operations teams through consolidated asset health views and notification workflows.
