Operational integrations and coverage emphasized demand capture and logistics orchestration, with forecast data captured into the Smoothie forecast system as part of the demand planning loop and Microsoft Dynamics AX used to coordinate purchasing, shipping, and inventory controls. The procurement team led the rollout and worked alongside IT governance to resolve purchasing and logistics issues, establishing inventory controls for dead stock, phase in phase out items, and daily product level analyses to anticipate shortages. Governance changes focused on new purchasing procedures, supplier contracts and service level frameworks, and training procurement staff to operate within Microsoft Dynamics AX workflows.
