Operational coverage extended beyond claims teams to underwriting and product groups, enabling claims data to inform product design and go-to-market strategy through more consistent data structures. Governance and rollout were led from underwriting technology, with Adam Rich Head of Underwriting Technology cited as a sponsor for linking claims capability to underwriting insight. The program standardized workflows and data capture across syndicates, formalizing process handoffs between claims, underwriting, and product development teams to support faster decision cycles. Outcomes reported include shortened claims lifecycles, an increase in claims processing productivity, enhanced risk modeling, and improved customer service. Guidewire Canvas and the integrated analytics capability were described by Beazley as central to capturing and analyzing claims data to support product innovation and commercial strategy.
