In 2021, Belgian Post Group deployed Kofax ReadSoft Online for AP Automation. The cloud based project was delivered by Dynatos and completed in three months during COVID 19 using remote collaboration, targeting the accounts payable team in Brussels that processes approximately 120,000 supplier invoices per year and receives 90 percent of invoices in digital formats.
The implementation configured Kofax ReadSoft Online to perform automated import of invoices received by email or uploaded by the scanning department, route documents to the OCR engine, and execute automated verification and basic checks. Configuration emphasized recognition and self learning capabilities to reduce verification effort, flexible user management to remove local installations, and browser based access to address frequent rotation of AP clerks and reduce device provisioning overhead.
Architecturally the deployment is cloud first and integrates with Oracle ERP cloud for master data and purchase order synchronization, and for export of validated invoice data via API. The design minimized per device configuration and license constraints by centralizing capture, validation, and reporting in the Kofax ReadSoft Online service, while preserving transactional handoff to Oracle ERP cloud for posting and holds management.
Governance and rollout followed a focused remote project cadence with Dynatos, leveraging prior process analysis from an earlier on premise relationship to accelerate requirements work. Reported outcomes from the deployment include reduced human intervention during verification due to improved recognition and self learning, AP clerks concentrating on exceptions, enhanced reporting for process monitoring, and a significant reduction in invoice holds in Oracle.

In 2014 Belgian Post Group implemented Oracle PeopleSoft HCM to increase the efficiency of the HR department and to provide a modern service to employees. The implementation targeted Core HR scope, initially covering HR Administration and Payroll processes and in a second phase extending to Absence Management and Time&Labor with integration to existing planning systems.
The Oracle PeopleSoft HCM deployment included configuration and customization of HR Administration, Payroll, Absence Management, and Time&Labor modules. Custom design work and interface specifications were produced by the PeopleSoft team, with technical implementation tasks scoped for the technical delivery team and estimates aligned to the design documents.
Integrations focused on bidirectional interfaces between PeopleSoft and the existing planning systems to synchronize time, absence, and staffing inputs, supporting HR administration and payroll calculations for Belgian Post Group operations. The program covered HR departmental processes for the employer population of approximately 38,768 employees and tied core HR dataflows to operational planning systems used across the organization.
Capgemini served as the system integrator on the program while Mieke acted as Team Lead for the technical solution, holding final approval authority for customizations and interfaces. Her responsibilities included producing technical estimations, planning the technical team's work, coaching during development, overseeing testing activities, and ensuring delivery quality against the PeopleSoft design specifications.
Operational governance included staged rollout sequencing between administration payroll and time and absence capabilities, and active reporting to management on risks related to planning, resourcing, and solution fit. The initiative was undertaken to increase HR efficiency and modernize employee services while embedding ongoing technical accountability through the PeopleSoft team and Capgemini integration support.
