In 2018, Boj of Wnc deployed FranConnect Sky for Franchise Management to centralize franchise development and entity maintenance within its Franchise Growth organization. The implementation positioned FranConnect Sky as the system of record for candidate intake, deal qualification, and ongoing franchise entity maintenance used by the Franchise Growth Department and reporting to Executive Leadership and the Board of Directors.
The deployment configured core functional capabilities including candidate evaluation and qualification workflows, initial financial review processing, legal entity and agreement document management, amendments processing for development agreements, and the transfer and maintenance process for existing franchise locations. FranConnect Sky was used to prepare Growth Department reporting and to manage franchise marketing compliance and vendor relationships for franchising website content and collateral.
Integrations and cross-functional linkage were implemented where documented, notably coordination with Boefly for financial review workflows, and operational handoffs with Finance, Legal, Real Estate, and Operations teams. The system supported end to end processes from candidate screening through deal approval, and served as the operational hub for franchise records and contract schedules.
Governance was formalized around the system, with the Franchise Growth team acting as the point of contact for annual FDD review and updates, oversight of amendment processing to ensure contractual compliance, and ownership of the transfer process and maintenance of franchise entities. Day to day administration and data stewardship responsibilities were assigned to franchise operations leads to keep FranConnect Sky data current, accurate, and complete.
The implementation emphasized process efficiency, with explicit focus on improving department level workflows and cross-functional coordination, and ongoing monitoring and maintenance of the FranConnect system to preserve data integrity and operational readiness.
