In 2013, B&S Global (Holland Trading Groep) implemented Kontent.ai as its Web Content Management platform. Aviva Solutions led the implementation and deployment activities for the project.
The deployment positioned Kontent.ai to manage structured content and editorial workflows within the company digital estate, while the broader implementation environment referenced Kentico CMS for site content and design and Microsoft Commerce Server, now Sitecore, to control catalog, customer profiles and transactions. Kontent.ai served as the central Web Content Management layer to author and deliver content assets alongside these commerce and presentation components.
A custom filter module was built inside Microsoft Commerce Server to allow business customers to select products by product type, name or number, and Commerce Server retained transaction control and profile management. The implementation therefore combined Kontent.ai content capabilities with commerce catalog and transaction modules to enable content-driven product pages and merchandising.
Governance emphasized coordination between editorial workflows in Kontent.ai and catalog controls in Commerce Server, with Aviva Solutions coordinating rollout and technical integration points. Operational scope included content, e-commerce merchandising and customer profile management across B&S Global digital channels.
