Oracle Legacy Oracle e-Business Suite Accounts Payable AP Automation ERP Financial Management n/a 2014 2015
In 2014, Camping World implemented Oracle e-Business Suite Accounts Payable. The deployment provided AP Automation capability as part of Camping Worlds Oracle Applications R12 finance stack, with Oracle e-Business Suite Accounts Payable serving as the core invoice processing and accounts payable application. The implementation encompassed configuration and operational support across adjacent financial modules including GL, AP, AR, OM, INV, CM and iExpense, with environments observed on Oracle Applications R12 versions 12.2.3 and a lead role in an upgrade to 12.2.8. Workstreams for the AP automation initiative focused on mapping accounting requirements to automated invoice workflows, exception handling, and test script creation during DEV, TEST and UAT phases. The technical architecture used Oracle11g as the database layer and common support tools such as SQL PLUS and TOAD. Integrations explicitly covered OM to INV to AR Auto Invoice flows and tax interfacing with Vertex O Series, with support activity spanning Vertex O Series 7.0 and an upgrade path to 9.0, ensuring tax calculation and posting points were coordinated with accounts payable processing. Governance and operational coverage were centered on Finance and Accounting teams and the Tax team, with senior systems analysts leading the AP automation project, gathering business requirements, troubleshooting Auto Invoice and O2C and P2P flow issues, and providing ongoing production support for GL, AP, AR, OM and INV.

Accurate Background Legacy Accurate Background BackGround Screening HCM n/a 2017 2017
In 2017, Camping World implemented Accurate Background as its BackGround Screening solution to centralize pre-hire screening within HR Operations. The deployment was governed from the Director of Human Resources Operations function, which supported approximately 15,000 employees across 43 US states and reported up to the VP of HR, aligning the background screening program with enterprise recruiting and compliance workflows. Accurate Background was configured to deliver standard candidate screening capabilities consistent with BackGround Screening platforms, including criminal checks, employment and education verification, configurable screening packages, and candidate-level status tracking. The implementation emphasized automation of status updates and adjudication workflows so screening outcomes could feed into hiring decision and onboarding gates. The screening service was integrated into Camping World recruitment and onboarding processes, with explicit partnership links managed between Accurate Background and the company electronic onboarding ecosystem led by ADP, and with the ATS and learning management components of the broader HCM footprint. Screening results and operational metrics were surfaced into HR reporting, complementing Power BI and ADP Data Cloud dashboards used by HR and executive stakeholders for visibility into hires and compliance. Governance and operational ownership rested with HR Operations, which negotiated and managed the Accurate Background relationship as part of a suite of vendor partnerships. Processes were restructured to embed background screening into requisition-to-hire workflows, to support rapid store openings and acquisition-related hiring across the United States, and to centralize compliance oversight with the internal employment legal team. These HR systems and vendor partnerships, which included Accurate Background for background checking, were part of a broader program of HR service delivery and process optimization that delivered stated annual cash flow improvements and contributed to recognition of Camping World HR, including the 2021 ADP Innovation Award. Accurate Background, Camping World and BackGround Screening are positioned within the companys HR Operations function as the operational backbone for pre-hire risk and compliance screening.
