In 2023, Carrington Aged Care implemented UKG Ready Payroll (ex Kronos Workforce Ready Payroll) in the Payroll category, replacing MYOB PayGlobal for employee payroll processing. The implementation supported Carrington Care’s Camden NSW operations and aligned with a strategic objective to improve timesheet clocking, rostering, and payroll accuracy across the organization.
The deployment included the UKG Ready roster and payroll modules, configured to accept shift time data from an external kiosk source and to manage timesheet submissions and approvals. UKG Ready Payroll was used for payroll calculation and roster integration, while standard Payroll category capabilities such as time capture, approval workflows, and payroll posting were activated to centralize payroll processing.
LoopSafe acted as the integration and kiosk provider, extending its visitor and contractor sign-in system to include staff clocking. LoopSafe developed a live integration to the UKG API so employee sign-in via LoopKiosk functions as the shift time clock synced to UKG, providing a real-time data feed into UKG Ready Payroll and ensuring alignment between entry screening and time capture.
Governance and rollout were executed as a simultaneous go live of the LoopSafe/UKG integration with Carrington’s UKG roster and payroll module, minimizing end user retraining because staff were already familiar with LoopSafe. The consolidated single step process improved staff experience and managerial oversight of timesheet submissions and approvals, entry safety screening is now completed by 100% of employees, and the live sync to UKG has instilled confidence in the board and executive team.

Operational coverage extended across administration, admissions support, accounts and payroll coordination, and workforce rostering for approximately 70 personal care staff and registered nurses at the facility. Fortnightly payroll for the building was processed to the central office using MYOB PAYGLOBAL, indicating a payroll export or submission workflow that coexisted with the Epicor Senior Living implementation.
Governance emphasized routine financial controls and submission processes, including monthly reconciliation of petty cash and trust accounts and the centralized submission of payroll cycles to the head office. The implementation narrative positions Epicor Senior Living as the core Healthcare ERP for site financials and supplier management while procedural handoffs governed payroll and trust reconciliations.
