UKG Ready Payroll was used for payroll calculation and roster integration, while standard Payroll category capabilities such as time capture, approval workflows, and payroll posting were activated to centralize payroll processing.
LoopSafe acted as the integration and kiosk provider, extending its visitor and contractor sign-in system to include staff clocking. LoopSafe developed a live integration to the UKG API so employee sign-in via LoopKiosk functions as the shift time clock synced to UKG, providing a real-time data feed into UKG Ready Payroll and ensuring alignment between entry screening and time capture.
Governance and rollout were executed as a simultaneous go live of the LoopSafe/UKG integration with Carrington’s UKG roster and payroll module, minimizing end user retraining because staff were already familiar with LoopSafe. The consolidated single step process improved staff experience and managerial oversight of timesheet submissions and approvals, entry safety screening is now completed by 100% of employees, and the live sync to UKG has instilled confidence in the board and executive team.
