| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle Field Service Cloud (ex TOA ETAdirect) | Field Service Management | ERP Services and Operations | Genome International Corporation | 2009 | 2009 |
In 2009, City of Memphis implemented Oracle Field Service Cloud (ex TOA ETAdirect) within an Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.10 engagement supported by Genome International Corporation. The Field Service Management implementation targeted TeleService, iSupport, and Field Service modules to support code enforcement and tele-service request handling across municipal service teams.
Configuration work included designing a new TCA model to drive TeleService and iSupport request flows, configuring Oracle CRM modules TeleService, iSupport, and Field Service, and performing data conversion from custom legacy applications into the Oracle Tele Service module. The project defined territory set-ups, custom resource allocation for tasks, and territory manager assignments to enable automatic routing of Service Requests and task assignments, and it produced BI Publisher service reports launched from TeleService forms and the Field Service online module built in the OA Framework.
Architecturally the implementation was executed alongside Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.10, with explicit design work for integration between Oracle Field Service Cloud and Arc GIS to enable spatially aware routing and territory definitions. CRM and HRMS functional testing was performed as part of a host migration validation, indicating the Field Service components were integrated into the broader EBS application footprint and tested for cross-module compatibility.
Governance and delivery artifacts were produced by Genome International Corporation, including MD.050 functional design, BR100 business requirement setups, TE040 business system testing plans, and MD.070 technical design documents. The engagement included conference room pilot cycles, test case preparation, user acceptance testing, and go-live support, establishing operational processes and testing governance for City of Memphis TeleService, iSupport, and Field Service operations.
