In 2017, CityVet implemented StringSoft Veterinary Practice Management as a centralized Medical Practice Management solution. The deployment targeted a 200 employee operation and was scoped to cover clinical teams and front-desk staff responsible for scheduling and client interactions.
StringSoft Veterinary Practice Management was configured to manage appointment scheduling, patient medical records, clinical charting, treatment logs, and client communications. Configuration included structured templates and discrete data fields to capture clinical procedures documented in source notes, including placing IV catheters, blood draws, animal restraint, basic and deep cleaning, dental radiographs and cleanings, and standardized patient history intake.
The implementation leveraged the application s imaging management and clinical documentation capabilities to link dental radiograph assets and treatment entries into the patient chart, and to support in-clinic capture of procedure-level data. Operational coverage encompassed reception scheduling workflows, veterinary technicians and clinicians entering procedure records, and front-office staff managing appointments and client communications within the Medical Practice Management system.
Governance and rollout emphasized role based access controls, standardized charting templates, and workflow realignment so clinical procedures map consistently to system fields, accompanied by targeted training to build StringSoft knowledge among clinical and client service staff. Process controls focused on documentation standards, appointment rules, and consistent capture of radiograph and treatment records to ensure reliable patient charts.
