In 2008, CliXelerate implemented Oracle NetSuite Commerce. The small Media company, based in the United States with about 10 employees, deployed the application to establish an eCommerce storefront and to centralize online product and order workflows.
The Oracle NetSuite Commerce deployment concentrated on core eCommerce capabilities, including storefront merchandising, product catalog management, shopping cart and checkout, promotions and content management, and order management. Configuration emphasized template-driven storefront control, SKU and inventory visibility, and web-based order orchestration appropriate for a compact operations team.
Architecture relied on cloud-hosted Oracle NetSuite Commerce services to consolidate storefront, catalog, and order data within a single application instance, reducing infrastructure overhead for a small organization. Operational coverage included marketing content management, customer-facing sales processes, and fulfillment workflow handling, with role-based access for content editors and order processors.
Governance centered on centralized catalog stewardship, managed pricing and promotion rules in the commerce UI, and a phased rollout to align marketing and fulfillment responsibilities. The implementation positions Oracle NetSuite Commerce as CliXelerate’s primary eCommerce platform, supporting standard eCommerce workflows and small-team operational governance.
