In 2005, Colt implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as a cloud based ERP Financial solution to centralize core finance systems and standardize accounting processes. The Oracle NetSuite ERP deployment was provisioned as a multi tenant SaaS service and scoped to support Colt's corporate finance, billing and financial reporting functions.
Configuration emphasized core ERP Financial modules including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, fixed asset management, period close orchestration and financial reporting, with revenue recognition and cash management workflows configured according to standard ERP practice. Transaction workflows were implemented for invoice to cash and procure to pay cycles using native NetSuite automation and role based transaction approvals.
Operational ownership was placed with Finance and Accounting teams, with role based access controls, segregation of duties rules and audit trail instrumentation configured to support compliance and auditability. The deployment was designed to provide a standardized chart of accounts and consolidated ledger processes to support multi entity and multi currency accounting requirements common for a communications firm of Colt's scale.

In 2018, Colt implemented SAP Fieldglass for Contingent Labor Management. The deployment established SAP Fieldglass as the central platform responsible for governance and controls over contingent workforce processes within Colt's corporate finance domain. The engagement was managed by a finance systems lead who directed a team of 11 SAP functional experts providing support and advice to internal customers across core functional areas.
Configuration focused on standard contingent labor management capabilities such as supplier onboarding, requisition-to-engagement workflows, and contingent workforce lifecycle management. Additional configuration addressed time and expense capture, rate card controls and statement-of-work governance to align with finance controls.
SAP Fieldglass was integrated with Colt's broader SAP ecosystem including SAP ECC, SAP BPC, SAP Ariba, Nakisa and VRM to centralize transactional and master data flows. These integrations connected engagement and invoice data into financial ledgers and planning systems, supporting finance processes and internal customers across corporate finance.
Governance, procedures and controls were formalized within the finance systems operating model as part of a Finance System transformation roadmap toward S/4 HANA and an improved user experience. The roadmap emphasized automation and digitalization to shift finance teams toward value added activities and insights while the lead team of 11 maintained operational support and configuration ownership.

In 2017, Colt selected NEC Corporation and Netcracker to deploy NetCracker Technology Digital Business Enablement as an OSS/BSS implementation to enable a large scale OSS transformation supporting the deployment of the next generation of its infrastructure, including virtualization. The engagement is positioned to provision orchestration and operations capabilities that span both physical and virtual network elements across Colt's infrastructure.
The implementation centers on Netcracker's next generation OSS and Service Orchestration solution delivered within NEC/Netcracker's Agile Virtualization Platform and Practice, including the AVP Hybrid Operations Management solution. Functional capabilities implemented include service orchestration, operations management, and virtualization enablement, configured to support service provisioning workflows and lifecycle orchestration common to OSS/BSS environments.
Operationally the NetCracker Technology Digital Business Enablement deployment is scoped to optimize Colt's physical network while preparing systems for virtualized environments, supporting network operations, service provisioning, and commercialization teams. The architecture is built to bridge physical network inventory and virtualized service layers so that orchestration and hybrid operations management can coordinate across physical and virtual resource domains.
Governance and process changes emphasize hybrid operations management and service orchestration to align operational workflows with virtualized infrastructure practices. The Netcracker OSS and Service Orchestration solution is intended to enable Colt to optimize its physical network and quickly monetize new investments, while preparing the infrastructure for use of both physical and virtualized environments.
