In 2015 Computacenter implemented SAP SuccessFactors Compensation to address Compensation Management needs within its HR organization. The SAP SuccessFactors Compensation deployment centralized compensation planning and pay review workflows as part of a broader HR cloud program.
Configuration work focused on the Compensation module, including eligibility rules, pay element mappings, merit and bonus cycles, approval workflows, and total rewards reporting to support compensation planning and governance. Subsequent detailed requirements capture work included Recruiting and Compensation alongside an employee digital record management initiative.
Integration architecture required bi directional interfaces with the on premise SAP HCM core HR system to reconcile organizational management data, employee master records and compensation elements. The program defined integration requirements between SAP SuccessFactors Compensation and SAP HCM, and specified functional requirements for the eDRM solution so employee records and compensation transactions remained synchronized.
Project governance emphasized milestone and detailed planning, facilitation of interviews and workshops to elicit business requirements, and an advisory role to support redesign of SAP HCM organizational management. Business analysis and formal functional requirement documentation for the eDRM and compensation workflows were produced to govern configuration, testing and operational handover.
