Integrations and operational coverage included maintained data exchange and workflows between Epic and other applications, operational interfaces for infection control notifications and quality reporting, and supported clinical case management and infection prevention functions across Cooper University Health Care in Camden, New Jersey. Epic ASAP was positioned as part of the broader Epic application footprint, enabling coordinated workflows between the emergency department, inpatient clinicians and ancillary quality reporting systems. Governance and operational control were managed using Agile scrum principles, led by an Sr Application Analyst Inpatient Lead who coordinated analyst workstreams, Epic upgrade strategies and Hyperdrive upgrade activities. The team produced SOPs, knowledge base articles, user stories, test plans and training documents, and managed break fix resolution, patient safety escalations, downtimes and ongoing Meaningful Use reporting responsibilities to sustain Epic ASAP operations.
