In 2021, Corvus Energy implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations as its core ERP Financial platform. The cloud-first deployment was chosen to unify administration and production across multiple factories and global sales offices while providing a single source of operational data for the manufacturing organization.
The implementation delivered by Inspirit365 centered on a reusable business template built in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, configured to handle both business and production processes. The system was configured to automate production workflows, manage factory control interactions, and support flexible product lines including robotic and automated factory operations in Bergen, enabling Dynamics 365 to run control systems for robots and plant-level coordination.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations was integrated into a broader Azure-enabled architecture, allowing Corvus Energy to ingest IoT and sensor telemetry from energy storage systems deployed on customer vessels. The ERP Financial platform was connected to machine learning, Business Intelligence capabilities and Office 365 to provide analytics, reporting and collaboration across sites, and the solution has been used to consolidate operations for factories in Norway and Canada and to extend to additional regions.
Governance and rollout were organized around the Dynamics 365 business template and a phased regional rollout, with Inspirit365 supporting replication of the template to new countries and production sites. The implementation aimed to streamline and coordinate business critical processes worldwide, automate production and processes, and provide a modern, connected system to support further growth.

In 2021, Corvus Energy implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management to consolidate administration and production across multiple factories and sales offices and to unify operational data for the maritime energy storage manufacturer. The cloud based ERP was selected to provide a common modern business system capable of supporting growth and tighter coordination of production, logistics and service functions.
Inspirit365 configured and delivered a business template for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management that covers production control, shop floor automation, inventory and logistics coordination, and core business processes for finance and sales. The Dynamics 365 deployment is used to run factory control systems in Bergen, including robotic and automated production workflows, and the template has been implemented for both business and production processes.
The implementation includes integrations with Azure platform services, Office 365, IoT sensor feeds from deployed ESS units and factory equipment, machine learning and business intelligence solutions to collect telemetry and enable analytics driven workflows. The solution supports multi site deployment and has been replicated from Norway to factories in Canada with plans to roll the template out to additional regions and production sites.
Governance and rollout were executed in partnership with Inspirit365, producing a repeatable template that aligns operational processes across production, logistics, service and sales. Dynamics 365 connects the companys data and information in a single system, automates production and processes and supports the companys objective to scale operations and coordinate business critical processes worldwide.
