In 2023, Coty implemented SAP S/4 HANA as its core ERP Financial system, migrating from SAP ERP ECC 6.0. The engagement combined a technical migration from ECC with a greenfield deployment of SAP S/4 HANA Fiori to provide a modern finance user experience, with a Sr. SAP Security Architect assigned from March 2023 to lead security and authorization work remotely from Orlando, Florida.
The implementation focused on SAP S/4 HANA financial capabilities, aligning general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial close management, treasury and controlling processes to S/4 HANA data and accounting models. Configuration and automation work included S/4 HANA ledger and master data stabilization, Fiori role design, and authorization patterns to support finance workflows and compliance oriented controls.
Migration activity encompassed conversion of transactional and master financial data from SAP ERP ECC 6.0 into SAP S/4 HANA, accompanied by Fiori front end provisioning for finance end users. Governance was structured around security architecture and role based access controls, with explicit emphasis on segregation of duties and authorization lifecycle during the cutover to SAP S/4 HANA.
Coty SAP S/4 HANA ERP Financial implementation therefore combined an ECC to S/4 HANA migration, greenfield Fiori introduction, and security and authorization redesign to support finance and accounting operations under the new SAP S/4 HANA platform.

In 2017, Coty implemented SAP SuccessFactors Variable Pay as a targeted application within its Compensation Management agenda. The deployment was led by the Global HRIS team and aligned to support Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Performance and Talent Management business functions across the company.
The SAP SuccessFactors Variable Pay implementation was configured alongside other SuccessFactors components cited by Coty, including Employee Central, Performance, Goal Management, Calibration, Recruitment and Succession. Configuration work focused on variable pay plan setup, eligibility rule definition, and linking variable compensation to performance and goal outcomes to reflect standard Compensation Management workflows.
Technical operations relied on an in-house Global Employee Experience & HR Tech leadership layer working with a technical service center in Lisbon managed by Accenture for ongoing support and incident resolution. The program provided functional and technical support for local HR teams referenced in New York, Amsterdam and Paris, and it connected Talent and Compensation COE stakeholders with the technical delivery team for triage of HR tech requests.
Governance was structured through the Global HRIS team and the Talent & Compensation COE, with responsibilities that included requirement intake, post-mortem analysis, agile methodology for deployments, and continuous improvement of processes and training. The role and implementation emphasized upskilling HR users, consolidating best practices for SuccessFactors usage, and supervising updates or enhancements to Variable Pay and adjacent modules as part of Coty’s ongoing HRIS roadmap.

In 2014, Coty implemented SAP Concur Travel to centralize Travel Management across its global Travel & Retail organization. The deployment targeted standardization of booking and expense workflows and the formal definition of a company travel policy to improve compliance.
SAP Concur Travel was configured to support travel booking and expense reporting modules, with centralized policy rules and approval workflows to enforce spend controls. The implementation included automated expense capture and workflow routing consistent with Travel Management best practices, and the selection of AMEX as the provider for corporate travel services and corporate card linkage.
Governance was led by a global finance lead for the Travel & Retail implementation project who owned policy definition, rollout sequencing, and alignment between finance, travel procurement, and retail operations. The project delivered streamlined and compliant tools for booking and expense management and established enterprise-level travel policy enforcement across Coty.
