In 2023, Couleecap implemented Tangicloud Fundamentals as its ERP Financial application. Couleecap transitioned from Dynamics GP to Dynamics 365 Business Central extended with Tangicloud Fundamentals to modernize fund accounting, approvals and reporting for nonprofit finance operations in the United States.
The deployment extended Dynamics 365 Business Central core financials with Tangicloud Fundamentals modules for fund accounting, configurable approval workflows and consolidated reporting. Configuration focused on a fund based chart of accounts, role based approval routing and report templates tuned to grant and fund reporting requirements, aligning with typical ERP Financial functional workflows for nonprofit finance teams.
Integrations implemented include Excel interoperability for ad hoc analysis and a payroll integration to bring payroll posting into the general ledger, leveraging Business Central as the transaction hub. Operational coverage targeted the finance function at Couleecap, centralizing day to day accounting, approvals and grant reporting for the organization.
Governance changes emphasized standardized approval processes and centralized reporting workflows to reduce manual reconciliation. Vendor feedback cites improved Excel integration, enhanced reporting, payroll integration and day to day efficiency gains after adopting Tangicloud Fundamentals.
