| Oracle | Intuit QuickBooks Desktop | Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2014 | 2015 |
In 2014, Crane Company implemented Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne as its ERP Financial solution, replacing Intuit QuickBooks Desktop. The deployment focused on the CRANE Instrumentation & Sampling business unit headquartered in Spartanburg, SC, which operates with over 220 employees inside the larger Crane Company organization of approximately 7,300 employees and a global sales and distribution network.
The implementation configured Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne to support core financial modules and workflows consistent with ERP Financial needs, including the general ledger, cost accounting and fixed asset ledgers, financial reporting and consolidation feeds. The system was used to generate monthly financial statements, cash flow and balance sheet reconciliations, and to capture product line and inventory statistical reporting such as inventory turns and order backlog, reflecting typical ERP Financial functional coverage for a manufacturing business.
Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne was integrated operationally with Crane Co corporate consolidation via an upload to the HFM financial consolidation system, supporting intercompany reconciliations and the flow of local JD Edwards general ledger data to corporate reporting. The solution was positioned to support Sarbanes-Oxley 404 related risk assessments and audits, and to enable routine reconciliations of intercompany, balance sheet and bank accounts within the business unit.
Governance and process responsibilities were assigned to the Accounting Manager for CRANE Instrumentation & Sampling, who maintained the local JD Edwards general ledger, managed cost accounting standards, maintained fixed asset records and capital expenditure audits, and prepared monthly management reports. The role also encompassed maintaining internal controls, supporting timely audits in coordination with the Controller, administering travel card and P-Card programs, and assisting with budgeting, forecasting and workflow process improvements tied to the Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne deployment.

| Workday | Oracle PeopleSoft HCM | Workday HCM | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2024 | 2026 |
In 2024, Crane Company implemented Workday HCM as its Core HR platform. The deployment replaced Oracle PeopleSoft HCM and established Workday HCM as the centralized HR system for the company with approximately 7,300 employees in the United States.
The implementation focused on Core HR capabilities including centralized employee records, organizational management, position management, transactional HR workflows, absence management, and consolidated talent profiles. Configuration work emphasized a single workforce data model, role based security, and a business process framework to support HR lifecycle events and case management.
Talent Acquisition processes were aligned to the new Core HR model so hiring and onboarding transactions feed into Workday HCM and maintain consistent workforce data. The operational scope covered HR, talent management, and workforce administration across corporate and manufacturing operations in the United States.
Governance was structured around centralized HR data stewardship, stage gated rollouts, and standardized approval controls to manage configuration changes. Operational change management prioritized HR process owners, role based access controls, and training documentation to support adoption and sustainment.

| FUJITSU GLOVIA | Legacy | GLOVIA G2 | Manufacturing ERP | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018, Crane Company implemented GLOVIA G2, a Manufacturing ERP, to centralize finance and manufacturing control at its Westlock Controls site in Saddle Brook, NJ. The GLOVIA G2 deployment from FUJITSU GLOVIA was positioned to support site financial commitments and operational performance across accounting and shop floor functions.
The implementation encompassed core financial management capabilities, cost accounting, product master file maintenance, shop floor control, inventory control, and standard reporting and forecasting workflows. Monthly close processes were formalized within GLOVIA G2, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and recurring financial analysis to meet corporate timelines and reporting requirements. The system supported multi-state sales and use tax processing and provided mechanisms for ad-hoc analysis and financial training for site leadership.
GLOVIA G2 was integrated with Hyperion Management Financials HFM for consolidated management financials, and SharePoint 2010 was used for document management and governance artifacts. Functional support was coordinated with a Shared Services Center and processes were aligned with the Crane Governance Portal, enabling SOX 404 compliant controls, internal audit routines, self-assessments, and detection and monitoring workflows.
Operationally the implementation impacted finance and operations teams, positioning controllers and finance business partners to provide actionable financial insight to site leadership, VP and general management. The ERP supported ongoing cost accounting activities such as productivity initiatives and variance analysis, and it underpinned reporting and forecasting used to support growth and profit initiatives at the site level.
