The implementation included documented data exchange and manual reconciliation with Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and the Appointy scheduling tool to support invoicing, appointment-driven sales capture and dispatch administration.

The deployment architecture used Brightpearl as the retail operations hub, with Intuit QuickBooks Desktop connected through custom integrations developed by b.solutions. TrueCommerce was integrated with Brightpearl to enable EDI driven supplier connectivity and drop shipping, automating supplier order placement, acknowledgements and invoicing. Order and customer account data were also pushed from Brightpearl into Salesforce Pardot via a bespoke integration to enable both transactional and marketing communications.
Governance and rollout were handled as an integrated program across finance, distribution and marketing, with b.solutions delivering the integration layer and implementation sequencing. The same Brightpearl to Intuit QuickBooks Desktop integration pattern was subsequently applied to sister company Midwest Mailing Supplies, allowing both entities to automate accounting processes, expand product reach through drop-shipping and enable data led customer communications.
