In 2019 Curtin University implemented TechnologyOne ERP in the ERP Financial category, commencing Stage Two to move its on premise Finance One system into a TechnologyOne provided and managed SaaS environment. The implementation targeted core ERP Financial capabilities including the institutional general ledger, accounts payable and receivable workflows, and centralized financial transaction processing consistent with a Finance One configuration.
The program built the required integration platform as designed and validated through a proof of concept with Student One, ensuring existing integration services could continue to run against the new TechnologyOne ERP SaaS tenancy. Migration of data from current on premise Finance One environments to the SaaS environment was executed as part of the stage two scope, with data conversion and reconciliation tasks aligned to the integration platform cutover.
Operational coverage focused on finance and student administration interfaces, preserving upstream and downstream integrations so that student records and financial transactions remained synchronized. The integration platform work emphasized message orchestration and service continuity to support ongoing batch and real time exchange patterns between Student One and Finance One workloads within the TechnologyOne ERP environment.
Governance activities included assessing and adjusting the Finance One environment management and support model to fit a SaaS operating model, updating runbook and support hierarchies for a vendor managed tenancy. The rollout incorporated training, change and communications management to prepare finance operations and stakeholders for the new TechnologyOne ERP SaaS processes and support pathways.

In 2018, Curtin University implemented Service Works Global QFM CMMS as a centralised, mobile-enabled maintenance management platform. The Service Works Global QFM CMMS served as the Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) backbone for facilities operations across the Bentley campus and the wider estate in Australia, targeting campus facility management processes and field maintenance teams.
The implementation configured modules to automate reactive work orders and planned maintenance workflows, and to schedule planned preventative maintenance PPMs while replacing paper job sheets with mobile forms. Mobile-enabled job capture and paper-free mobile forms were embedded as core capabilities to support field technicians and PPM scheduling, with configuration focused on work order lifecycle, asset records, scheduling, and mobile forms-based compliance data capture.
Operational scope covered campus facilities and estate-wide facilities management functions, with governance centralized through campus facilities leadership and standardised workflows and mobile form templates to enforce consistent job handling and compliance evidence capture. The deployment improved resource utilisation, compliance reporting and sustainability through reduced paper usage, as described in the SWG case study.
