In 2016 De Heus implemented Comarch XL ERP (formerly CDNxl) as its ERP Financial system. The initiative centralized core finance and accounting processes for De Heus South Africa, placing general ledger control and statutory reporting under a single application platform. Comarch XL ERP was selected to provide a unified financial backbone for transaction processing and financial close activities.
The implementation configured standard ERP Financial modules including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets and financial reporting, with configuration focused on chart of accounts consolidation and month end close automation. Configuration work emphasized role based approvals, audit trail capture and configuration of financial statements to support statutory requirements. The deployment used built in financial workflow and reporting capabilities of Comarch XL ERP to standardize accounting controls and recurring transaction processing.
Operationally the Comarch XL ERP rollout covered finance and accounting functions within the companys South Africa operations and interfaced conceptually with existing front end web tooling, while the company concurrently uses Xandr Invest ex AppNexus DSP on its website for digital advertising. Governance changes included centralized approval workflows and tighter change control for master data and chart of accounts, with process documentation to support periodic close and audit readiness. The implementation narrative reflects a finance led ERP Financial deployment aimed at consolidating transactional and reporting workflows within Comarch XL ERP (formerly CDNxl).
