Adobe Systems Legacy Adobe Acrobat Sign Embed Digital Signing Content Management n/a 2020 2021
In 2020, Decisions implemented Adobe Acrobat Sign Embed to add electronic signing to its Meeting Documents Manager for Microsoft Word. The Adobe Acrobat Sign Embed implementation delivers Digital Signing capabilities focused on meeting minutes and formal approvals, positioning Decisions to streamline signature workflows within its meeting management product. The deployment embeds the Adobe Acrobat Sign Embed add in directly into the Decisions Meeting Documents Manager module for Microsoft Word, enabling meeting organizers to select an Electronic Signature option when finalizing minutes. Functional capabilities implemented include one click signature requests from the Word interface, recipient selection, and automated capture of completed signatures alongside the final minutes document. Integrations are explicit and operationally scoped to Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, the Microsoft Word minutes module, and SharePoint storage, with signed records saved to the meeting folder on SharePoint. The implementation supports meetings orchestrated inside Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365, aligning the Digital Signing flow with existing meeting creation and document management workflows. Governance and compliance were central to the selection of Adobe Acrobat Sign Embed, Adobe Sign being certified against rigorous security standards, which Decisions cited as a reason for the integration. The configuration creates an auditable, legally binding signature trail inside Decisions meeting processes, reducing friction for approvers and enabling faster, secure collaboration on meeting minutes.
