| Meridian Kiosks | Legacy | Mzero | Digital Signing | Content Management | n/a | 2015 | 2016 | In 2015, Direct General Corporation deployed Meridian Mzero kiosks across retail locations to support insurance purchasing and bill-payment workflows. The Mzero application was implemented to generate instant quotes and to facilitate end-to-end purchase flows, using Digital Signing to deliver fully binding policies at point of sale. Deployment configured MzeroPay for payment processing and kiosk software for quote generation, customer data capture, and automated contract generation. MzeroManage was implemented as the centralized operations layer for kiosk monitoring, remote configuration, and integrated peripheral management. Kiosk architecture combined local transaction processing at retail sites with centralized management through MzeroManage, integrating card readers, printers, signature capture devices, and network telemetry into the Mzero runtime. Operational telemetry and peripheral health data were routed to MzeroManage for monitoring and issue triage. Operational scope covered insurance and finance functions across retail locations in the United States, shifting front line sales and payment acceptance to self service kiosk workflows. Rollout focused on kiosk monitoring, peripheral maintenance processes, and defined acceptance flows for point of sale contract execution, with quotes generated in under 60 seconds and customers able to obtain a fully binding policy in under five minutes. |
