In 2016, Dnata Australia implemented Sage 300 ERP (formerly Accpac) to support core ERP Financial functions. The deployment targeted accounts payable and finance operations for a 3,000 employee transportation and ground handling organization operating in Australia.
Sage 300 ERP was configured to run accounts payable workflows, vendor master management, purchase order maintenance, intercompany transfers, multi currency payment runs, and month end financial reporting. Operational procedures documented a payment run cadence on Tuesdays and Fridays and the production of EFT payment files for bank processing, while day to day AP operations handled a high volume of inbound invoices exceeding 200 items per day and included credit card and expense reconciliation.
The implementation included transactional interfaces to corporate banking for payments and transfers with HSBC and NAB, and coordination of bank approvals by authorized signatories, plus automated emailing of supplier remittances as part of standard workflows. Staff worked with Sage 300 ERP alongside Sage Intacct in accounts payable activity, reflecting a mixed financial application footprint supporting port operations and internal stakeholders in Sydney and other Australian sites.
Governance emphasized controls for new vendor creation, vendor database management, AP inbox control, reconciliation follow up and documented approval processes for payment runs and intercompany settlements. Day to day control and operational ownership rested with Accounts Payable roles responsible for vendor liaison, dispute resolution, month end assistance and ongoing identification of accounts payable process improvements.

In 2018, Dnata Australia deployed iCIMS Recruit Applicant Tracking System as its Applicant Tracking System and exposed the application on its public careers site. The iCIMS Recruit Applicant Tracking System is used to publish live vacancies, including frontline Ground Service Agent roles, and to capture external candidate applications directly through the careers portal.
Configuration work focused on core recruiting modules common to an Applicant Tracking System, including job requisition management, career site job posting, candidate profile and staged workflow management, interview scheduling, and offer management. Recruiting analytics and reporting capabilities were enabled to support operational hiring oversight, and branded candidate-facing pages and a candidate self-service portal were implemented to support external applicants.
The deployment follows a vendor-hosted cloud SaaS model with the careers site integration surfacing jobs and candidate forms to external users. Operational coverage centers on Dnata Australia talent acquisition and HR teams, coordinating hiring for ground operations and corporate roles across Australia, with governance centered on centralized requisition approvals and standardized hiring manager workflows to manage high-volume frontline hiring.
