In 2010, Ecobank International implemented Oracle Flexcube in the Core Banking category as the Group's primary transaction processing platform. eProcess International SA was designated as the centralized information technology shared service to standardize and operate the Oracle Flexcube deployment across the Group.
Oracle FLEXCUBE is described as a scalable integrated software platform providing a complete IT solution to run retail banking, wholesale banking, treasury and investment banking and internet banking operations. The Flexcube core banking platform is primarily used to support the Group's retail banking business and serves as the core internet banking platform while other specialist systems such as Calypso and Eximbill support treasury and trade workflows.
Operational deployment is organized around two regional processing centres in Lagos and Abidjan which have received back-office migrations from 21 of the Group's subsidiaries, and two data centres in Lagos and Accra which back each other up to provide disaster recovery and continuous customer service availability. There is a program to migrate all Group subsidiaries to the Group's processing and data centres except the Company's French subsidiary, EBI SA Groupe Ecobank.
Group policies govern data lifecycle and storage, production data is held in the databases of each servicer and backup or archival data is stored on storage infrastructure or offline tapes according to policy. The Group is in the process of migrating its scalable integrated software platform from Oracle FLEXCUBE 7 to Oracle FLEXCUBE 12, and the architecture and shared service model are positioned to reinforce the Group's role as a digital bank.

In 2021 Ecobank International implemented About Livefyre on its corporate website as a Web Content Management capability for customer-facing digital channels. The deployment centers on embedding About Livefyre components into site pages to enable editorial publishing and real-time social engagement within the bank's online presence.
About Livefyre was configured to support standard web content management workflows, including editorial authoring, staged publishing, and user-generated content moderation. Typical functional modules in this implementation include content authoring and publishing, comment and discussion streams, and moderation controls, aligned with Web Content Management practices for managing distributed content and social interactions.
Operationally the implementation is scoped to the corporate website and adjacent digital channels, supporting marketing, corporate communications, and customer engagement functions. Governance was structured around role-based editorial approvals and moderation policies to control user-generated content and publishing rights, with configuration focused on embedding About Livefyre widgets into page templates and CMS-managed pages rather than replacing the site platform itself.
